Product Overview

QSFP-40G-IR4 is compatible with 40GBASE-IR4 QSFP+ optical modules (single-mode, 1310nm, 2km, LC, DOM).

This QSFP+ optical module is suitable for 40GBASE Ethernet and can transmit up to 2 kilometers over single-mode fiber via a 1310nm wavelength, full-duplex LC interface. The module complies with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 standards. Digital diagnostics are available via the I2C interface, conforming to the QSFP+ MSA specification, and provide access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy-to-install, hot-swappable optical module is suitable for various application scenarios, including data centers, high-performance computing networks, enterprise cores, and distribution layers.
