Product Description:
Compatible with 800G OSFP with top heatsink to 2x 400G OSFP flat-top Ethernet DAC splitter cable (1 meter, passive, OSFP to 2x OSFP, 30AWG).
This 800Gb/s dual-port OSFP to 2x 400Gb/s dual-port OSFP passive direct-connect copper splitter cable is suitable for 400Gb/s Ethernet solutions. It complies with OSFP MSA (Multi-Source Protocol) and IEEE 802.3ck standards. Each end includes an EEPROM to provide product identification and characteristic information to the host system. The
8-channel dual-port OSFP end features a top-heat-sink design for air-cooled Ethernet switches, while the two 400G ends support 4-channel 100G-PAM4 (400G) and use a flat-top OSFP design for Ethernet adapters with additional heatsinks in the connector cage. This cable is primarily used to connect 800G switches to OSFP-based 400G network adapters.
This cable features low latency, low power consumption, and high cost-effectiveness, enabling 800G to dual 400G split connections. It is suitable for server-to-top-level switch (TOR) links in AI/ML training clusters, hyperscale cloud data centers, and high-performance computing environments.
