OSFP-400G-VSR4 optical module (multimode, 850nm, 50m, MPO-12/APC, DOM)
The OSFP-400G-VSR4 compatible OSFP optical module is designed specifically for 400GBASE Ethernet. It can transmit over OM4 multimode fiber (MMF) up to a distance of 50 meters with a wavelength of 850nm through an MTP/MPO-12 APC connector. This module complies with CMIS 5.2, IEEE 802.3bs, IEEE 802.3db, and OSFP MSA standards. It features built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time access to operating parameters.
The single-port OSFP optical module with heat dissipation fins is specifically designed for Ethernet air-cooled switches, featuring low latency, low power consumption, and high reliability. It supports upstream connections in the spine-and-leaf architecture, such as from an 800G switch to a 400G switch, and also supports downstream connections from top-of-rack switches to Ethernet network cards. It is an ideal choice for high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and cloud data centers.
