Product Description:
The SFP+ active optical cable is a direct-connect fiber optic assembly with an SFP+ connector, suitable for multimode fiber (MMF) transmission. This AOC conforms to the SFF-8431 MSA standard. Compared to using separate optical modules and fiber optic patch cords, it provides a more cost-effective solution for 10Gbps connections within and between adjacent racks. All optics are integrated inside the cable, eliminating the need for cleaning, scratching, or damaging LC fiber optic connectors, significantly improving reliability and reducing maintenance costs. AOCs are commonly used to build short-distance switch-to-switch or switch-to-GPU connections ranging from 1 to 30 meters.
