Product Description:
QSFP28 Active Optical Cables (AOCs) are fiber optic assemblies with QSFP28 connectors designed for direct-connect applications over multimode fiber (MMF). These AOCs comply with hot-pluggable QSFP28 MSA and RoHS-6 standards, ensuring compatibility and environmental compliance. As a cost-effective alternative to standalone optical modules and fiber optic patch cords, these AOCs are ideal for establishing 100Gbps connections within and between adjacent racks. Active optical cables are lighter and thinner than copper cables, simplifying cable management.
