OSFP-DR8-800G optical module (single-mode fiber, 1310nm, 500 meters, dual MTP/MPO-12 APC, DOM, with cover and cooling fins)
The OSFP-DR8-800G OSFP optical module is specifically designed for 800GBASE Ethernet. It achieves a transmission distance of up to 500 meters over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) through a 1310nm wavelength and dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors. This module adheres to the IEEE 802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu, and OSFP MSA standards. Equipped with a built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), it provides real-time access to operational parameters.
The dual-port OSFP optical module with cover and cooling fins is designed for Ethernet air-cooled switches. It boasts low latency, low power consumption, and high reliability, enabling interconnection between upstream switches in the Spine-Leaf architecture, and downstream interconnection between rack-top switches and Ethernet network cards, or with BlueField-3 DPUs in computing servers and storage subsystems. It serves as an ideal solution for HPC computing, AI, and cloud data centers.

Test the bit error rate and packet loss rate, to make them meet the corresponding standards and ensure the performance of transceivers.
Test the transceivers' eye diagram situation, receiving sensitivity, extinction ratio, wavelength, light-emitting, light-receiving, current and voltage, to ensure the signal quality, stability and reliability of the transmission.
Check the end face of the transceivers and keep them clean for more stable data transmission, better performance, and durability.
